Every painting in this studio starts a few steps from the easel.
During the open studio, visitors are welcome to wander through the garden itself — the same beds, borders and light that turn up in the work on the walls — and talk with the artist about how a garden becomes a canvas.
Every visitor to the studio takes home an iris from my garden - with my compliments (while stocks last).
